Piczzle — Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 25, 2026
The short version
Your photos are yours. Photos you turn into puzzles are stored only on your device and are never uploaded to our servers.
What we collect
- Anonymous progress data. A randomly-generated anonymous identifier syncs your coins and progress totals to our server so your balance survives reinstalls. It contains no name, email, or contact information.
- AI image prompts. If you use Dream Studio, the text you type is sent through our server to our image-generation provider (fal.ai) solely to create your image. Prompts are not stored; generated images are delivered to your device and not retained by us.
- Purchases. Subscriptions and coin packs are processed by Apple. Our payment partner RevenueCat receives anonymized receipt data to validate purchases. We never see your payment details.
- Advertising. Optional rewarded videos are served by Google AdMob, which may use a device identifier as described in Google's privacy policy. Ads are strictly opt-in — the game never interrupts you.
- Shared puzzles (Send-a-Puzzle links). When you share a puzzle as a link, the package is encrypted on your device with a key that travels only inside the link itself (the “#” fragment, which browsers and apps never send to servers). Our server briefly relays the encrypted blob — we cannot decrypt or view it — and deletes it automatically after 7 days at the latest.
What we never collect
Your photo library, your finished puzzles, your camera roll, your contacts, your location, your name or email. Piczzle has no user accounts.
Data deletion
“Erase all data” in Settings clears everything stored on your device. To remove the anonymous sync record from our server, contact us with the request — or simply erase and stop using the app; the record is inert and contains no personal information.
Children
Piczzle is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from them.
